The room was modest and big and complete with double beds as well as decent facilities, I had everything needed. The location was magnificent, so close to MaxPali supermarket and San josé and Carribean and Tortuguero, in a nice area.

The hotel was perfect and overlooked garden. The staff were incredibly friendly in the entire venue. The a double room had basic facilities you need, climate control and television. Came here for stopover, recommendable.

The bed was a little hard, unfortunately.

I stayed at Hotel Y Cabinas Del Tropico for a quick stop on my way from the Caribbean to San Jose. The hotel was conveniently located midway through our drive and provided everything we needed for a short stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and spacious. The layout of the room was interesting, with a spacious shower integrated into the room. The view of the mountains and volcano was breathtaking, and breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. The parking lot right in front of our room was convenient, and having a fridge in the room was a nice touch. The small soda in the patio added a nice atmosphere to the hotel.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing as there were no fruits available for smoothies or yogurt. However, this was a personal preference and we were able to find alternatives nearby.

Great value for the price! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. We loved having a restaurant right on-site, serving delicious Costa Rican cuisine for both dinner and breakfast. The location was perfect, easily accessible from the highway and convenient for our city trip. the secure parking right outside our door was a big plus.

The room was not soundproof, and we had some noise issues with our neighbors and the trucks on the main road. The bed sheets and curtains could use a refresh, and the bathroom design allowed for some unwanted smells and sounds to be heard in the room.

Our stay was not as comfortable as we had hoped. The room was not soundproof, and we could hear loud conversations and TV noise from the neighboring room late at night.
